Back in the studio

I am back in the studio since the week of the 25th of Dec. after my recent hiatus in order to move from one home to another and prior to that to prepare for my solo show at The Jeffrey Boone Gallery.

I am in experimental mode and will post new work as soon as I have time to take some photos.

Meanwhile here is a photo of the last piece I made for the show in October.

Interruption

I received an eviction notice from the new landlords of my apartment. They are moving into my suite. Since the last week in October I have been dealing with finding a new home and packing up the old one for the move on December 1. I have lived here for 10 years and it is a monumental task and a sad one. I will not be posting for a while.

Drawing Backlog

Summer is a busy time. I am preparing for two solo shows and am showing in one group show (see previous post). I am working in my studio 2 or 3 days per week and working part time to finance my artistic independance. I also hike, kayak and camp in the summer. This summer I took on re-painting 3 rooms in my apartment.
